Apple has started selling the iPhone 13 series through its Certified Refurbished store in the US. This comes a month after the company listed refurbished iPhone 13 units for sale in Europe.
Unlike the EU, though, Apple is currently not selling refurbished iPhone 13 mini in the US.
Save up to $230 by buying Certified Refurbished iPhone 13 from Apple
Apple has listed the iPhone 13 for sale in its refurbished store in the US 18 months after its initial announcement. Depending on the storage you want, you can save up to $230 on the iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max by buying a refurbished unit.
The iPhone 13 Pro with 256GB storage is listed for $849 on Apple’s refurbished store, down $150 from its retail price. On the 512GB and 1TB variants, you can save $180 and $210, respectively. With the iPhone 13 Pro Max, you can save $200 on the 512GB model and $230 on the 1TB configuration.
Do note that Apple no longer sells the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max officially. So, if for some reason, you want an iPhone 13 Pro/Max directly from the company, your only option is to buy a refurbished unit.
As for iPhone 13, it is currently out of stock. However, Apple restocks its refurbished store at least twice a week, so keep checking regularly.
While these prices might appear tempting, you can find a better deal on the iPhone 13 lineup with third-party retailers and carriers.
Buying from Apple’s Certified Refurbished store has its benefits
If you want an iPhone 13, purchasing a refurbished unit from Apple has certain advantages.
Firstly, Apple ships all refurbished iPhones with a new battery and outer shell, making them almost brand new. Secondly, refurbished devices are backed by Apple’s one-year standard warranty. You can extend the coverage further using AppleCare for additional peace of mind.
Lastly, refurbished iPhone 13 units will arrive in a white box bundled with all accessories and cables that you’d get inside a retail box.
