Grid Studio disassembles well-loved gadgets and presents their rearranged innards as framed wall art. And its nostalgic collection for Apple fans just got two new entries.

The collection now includes a fourth-generation iPod Classic and a first-generation iPad mini for your aesthetic consideration.

Grid Studio adds disassembled iPod Classic and iPad mini to its Apple wall art collection

The iPod Classic and iPad mini join other Cupertino classics as the newest additions to Grid’s lineup of devices.

Each piece of wall art consists of the gadget’s disassembled bits on a white backing under transparent plastic in a black wooden frame, suitable for most interiors.

They ship in thick black paper finished with ribbon and a wax seal. Sounds like a nice gift. Know any Apple fans?

The fourth-generation iPod, rolled out in. 2004, makes for a particularly iconic piece of artwork for Apple enthusiasts. That’s because it features a Click Wheel. It’s Grid’s first wall art featuring a  “classic” iPod, in this case a 20GB model that originally went for $299.

As with other Grid displays, printed details describe different aspects of the device and its history, along with a quote from Steve Jobs.

Like the iPod Classic, the first-generation ‌iPad mini‌ is another first for the studio — it’s first iPad.

The first ‌iPad mini‌ came out in 2012 at a starting price of $329.. Its specs resembled those of the ‌iPad‌ 2, including display resolution.

Showing a bit of their age

The gadgets show some wear because they were used devices before ascending to the realm of art. But the wear is minimal.

The two devices are shown in all their glory and would make an interesting gift for anyone who loved them in their heyday — or anyone who loves Apple gear, really.

Right now you can get each of the two new pieces for $100 off. So the iPod Classic (fourth generation) is $399 and the iPad mini (first generation) is $199.
