New release for iPhone: Backbone One PlayStation Edition controller

The design of the PlayStation 5’s wireless DualSense controller, down to its transparent buttons, inspired Backbone’s new controller, the company said.

To play, you just snap your iPhone into the controller. Then you can enjoy PlayStation games via the PS Remote Play app, or play other games from the App Store, Apple Arcade, Xbox Remote Play and elsewhere.

Backbone noted the controller works with all iPhones. An adapter for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max comes in the box.

An iPhone charges the controller via Lightning connection. An additional Lightning connector for pass-through charging of accessories is also included.

Buyers of the Backbone One PlayStation Edition controller can get a few perks. They include three months of Discord Nitro for free, a free, one-month subscription to Apple Arcade if the purchaser is not already subscribed to the service and more.

The controller comes in black or white colors matching the PS5 console.
