This GaN charger post is brought to you by Aergiatech.

Are you tired of carrying two or more chargers for work or when you travel? Does it take too long to charge your 16-inch M1 MacBook Pro? Consider the Aergiatech P1114 140W Wall Charger. If you have this gallium nitride charger, you may not need another one.

As Aergiatech put it, it’s the “world’s first four-port 140W wall charger with PD3.1 and GaN.” That means it’s compact, fast and can charge four devices simultaneously. It’s not only smaller and more capable than Apple’s 140W USB-C Power Adapter, it’s much less expensive.

And during the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign going on now, you can get a super-early-bird price on it. See below.

Aergiatech’s new charger supports PD3.1, the most advanced charging protocol for speedy charging at work, home or on vacation.

It comes with four charging ports, fast-charging your MacBook and three other devices at the same time. It sports three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, covering your charging needs.

Thanks to GaN technology, the charger’s both powerful and small. A folding-plug design makes it even more compact for storage or travel, so you can take it anywhere.

And only bringing one charger makes going places easier, right? Strange to think people used to have to carry three or even four chargers around with them.

PD3.1 revolution: fast, efficient charging

All that, and it’s much faster than the Apple power adapter included with the 2021 16-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro.

It excels with PD3.1, supporting 28V, 5A output for the powerful laptop via a MagSafe 3 cable. When you achieve 140W maximum output with the PD3.1 charging protocol, you greatly reduce your charging time. It takes just 82 minutes on average to fully charge the top MacBook, Aergiatech said.

Plus, the charger’s compatibility with Apple’s new USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable makes it “the world’s first fast charger for two MacBooks,” Aergiatech added.

Using intelligent power allocation, the C1 and C2 ports max out at 65W. That’s quite a bit of power — enough to fast-charge two MacBooks or to power up things like iPads and iPhones faster than many other chargers. For example, an iPhone 13 Pro Max will draw 27W of power.

Great for the whole family

Typically, families tend to adhere mainly to one tech ecosystem to make life easier. For many, that means Apple, with Macs, iPads, iPhones, AirPods, etc. Aergiatech calls them “Apple family bucket users,” and the company’s new wall charger suits them perfectly.

Given all its benefits of fast-charging multiple Apple devices, the Aergiatech P1114 is something the whole family can benefit from. You could stash a couple of these around the house or on the go to keep everybody’s devices charged up. Say goodbye to each kid needing a separate charger for each device.

And keep in mind that the charger supports many charging protocols, so it will recognize and charge most popular devices, including smartphones, tablets and laptops.
