Apple looks set to introduce new color options for its official iPhone 13 cases in the coming weeks. A leaked photo reveals an alleged “spring collection” for the Silicone Case with MagSafe, which includes new yellow, pink, and green shades.

The image comes just a week before Apple is expected to host its spring event, which is rumored to bring big refreshes for iPhone SE, iPad and Mac.

Apple typically refreshes its accessory lineups every spring, adding new iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands. It looks like that will continue in 2022, according to a photo published by tipster Majin Bu on Twitter.

Bu’s photo shows at least four new Silicone Cases in new yellow, pink, purple, and green shades. It’s likely there will be some new Leather Case options, too. Aside from a fresh lick of paint, they should be identical to earlier versions.

These cases could hit Apple’s online store on March 8 — the same day it is expected to host its spring event. They may get a quick mention during the keynote, but other, more significant releases will steal the spotlight.

Apple’s spring event edges closer

Recent rumors have suggested Apple is planning new iPhone SE and 10.2-inch iPad models — both of which are expected to feature 5G connectivity for the first time. It could also introduce a number of new Mac models with “M2” chips.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who has proven reliable in the past, expects a 13-inch MacBook Pro refresh at the very least. But Apple has also registered other new Mac models — three in total — with one regulator.

What else might we see? Well, Apple is said to be planning upgrades for MacBook Air, Mac mini, the 27-inch iMac, and the Mac Pro. However, these aren’t expected to come until later on in the year, so we’ll have to wait and see.

And if Apple’s next event is indeed scheduled for March 8, we should see an official announcement tomorrow, March 1.
