It’s safe to say not everyone loves Apple’s stock carrying case for its flagship headphones, AirPods Max. You might even say some people hate the case. So it’s worth noting when an alternative comes along, like Intelli’s stylish new CarryOn case, released Tuesday.

And they look like a solid choice to carry AirPods Max whether or not you’re traveling at 30,000 feet.

Intelli CarryOn case for AirPods Max

Intelli said the CarryOn is a tough case made from water-resistant woven nylon with a rigid inner liner. It comes equipped with a built-in handle and zipper.

Inside, the soft microfiber lining protects the Airpods Max from bumps, drops and scratches. And notably, a built-in magnetic divider, or “fin” as Intelli described it, puts the headphones to sleep while at rest.

“This allows for a more efficient playback, saving precious charge, ideal for travel or work commutes,” Intelli said.

And with the included Cable Caddy, charging cables and other small necessities also get housed and protected.

Another decent alternative to Apple’s stock case is made by Waterfield. Or, if you’d like to spend about about twice the price of the headphones themselves, you might try the Gucci case.

You can pick up Intelli’s CarryOn case for AirPods Max for $39.99 on the company’s website or at Amazon.
