The first trailer for Suspicion, a new Apple TV+ thriller starring Uma Thurman, sets up the series’ intriguing storyline.

After the son of a prominent American businesswoman, played by Thurman, is kidnapped from a New York hotel, four seemingly ordinary British citizens who just happened to be there that night find themselves caught up in an investigation.

“As they find themselves in a trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI to prove their innocence, it becomes apparent that not everyone can be trusted,” Apple says.

Alongside Thurman, Suspicion stars Kunal Nayyar of The Big Bang Theory, Noah Emmerich of The Americans, Georgina Campbell of Black Mirror, and Tom Rhys Harries of White Lines, among others.

Based on the award-winning Israeli series False Flag, the first two episodes of the series will arrive February 4 on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode every Friday. There are eight to enjoy in total.

Apple TV+ is well worth its price tag if you’re a fan of gripping thrillers. We’ve already been graced with shows like Tehran, Defending Jacob, Servant and Losing Alice. And Suspicion looks just as intriguing.
