Accessories-maker Scosche launched a series of MagSafe-compatible products Monday ahead of CES 2022, including two Bluetooth speakers that can boost your iPhone’s sound on the go.

The company also rolled out new car mounts and a wireless charger, among other items.

BoomCan and BoomBottle portable speakers for iPhone

In its list of CES items, Scosche debuted MagSafe-compatible portable speakers for iPhone.

BoomCan

The small, $40 BoomCanMS Portable Bluetooth-enabled speaker sticks to the back of a ‌MagSafe‌ ‌iPhone‌. Sound-wise, the ‌MagSafe‌ technology adds nothing, but it keeps the speaker securely attached and doubles as a kickstand. If you don’t have a MagSafe phone, you can use the included “MagicPlate.”

Using Bluetooth 5.0, the BoomCan delivers rich sound from your iPhone or lets you take hands-free calls. You can pair two of them for stereo sound, the company said. The devices plays for five hours on a charge. It’s waterproof with a rating of IPX7.

BoomBottle

With the larger, $130 BoomBottle Magnetic Portable Speaker, you can attach your mini sound system by placing your iPhone on top for simple access to streaming music, hands-free calls and more. The speaker is shaped like a bottle. It also has a magnetic base, which lets it sit securely on metal surfaces.

With two passive subwoofers and two 10W speakers, the BoomBottle delivers a big sound indoors or outdoors, Scosche said. Like the BoomCan, you can pair it with a second speaker and it has a waterproof rating of IPX 7.

The two new speakers for iPhone will launch later in 2022, the company said.

Scosche’s new MagicMount Pro Charge5 mounts work with Apple’s MagSafe iPhones, which are the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series models. Scosche pointed out its mounts offer a strong hold. However, they don’t use Apple’s ‌MagSafe‌ protocol and thus are limited to 7.5W of wireless charging power.

A 360-degree adjustable head lets you place your iPhone in portrait or landscape mode. All mounts include a car adapter for charging plus a 20W USB-C charging port to use when you need faster power-ups.

The company designed these mounts for ‌MagSafe‌ iPhones, but you can use them with older iPhones. Just attach the included MagicPlate magnet.

Upon the planned spring 2022 launch at a price of $64.99, you’ll be able to get Scosche’s MagicMount Pro Charge5 in four options: Window/Dash, Dash/Vent, Telescoping, and Cup Holder. MagicMount Pro ‌MagSafe‌ options will be available from $44.99.

If you already own the ‌MagSafe‌ Charger from Apple, Scosche has a new multi-device charging solution for you. It introduced the BaseLynx MS, designed to integrate with the BaseLynx system for multi-device charging.

The BaseLynx MS fits a ‌MagSafe‌ Charger and lets you charge an iPhone in an upright position. Because it uses Apple’s MagSafe technology, it charges at the full 15W for most of the MagSafe iPhones, but at 12W for the ‌iPhone 12‌ and 13 minis.

The BaseLynx MS Wireless Stand for ‌MagSafe‌ Charger is set to launch in spring 2022 for $50.
