If you’re yet to try out Apple Music, now’s your chance. Shazam is offering five months of free and unlimited access to new subscribers who sign up before January 31, 2022. Some existing subscribers can get two months free.

You’ll need to use your iPhone (or an Android smartphone if that’s what you’re into) to redeem the offer.

Get up to 5 months of Apple Music free

Shazam has been heavily linked with Apple Music since soon after the company was acquired by Apple in 2018. Users have been given the opportunity to sign up to Apple Music free of charge — particularly around the holidays.

The same promotion is back this year, offering up to five months of Apple Music at no cost. Those who take advantage of it get completely unlimited access to all songs and features, just like you would if you were to pay for a subscription.

To sign up, visit the promotional page on your mobile device, or look for a banner advertising the deal inside the Shazam app. If you’re completely new to Apple Music, you should get five months of free service.

For existing subscribers, too

If you’re an existing Apple Music subscriber, you may be entitled to two months free. I tried it out myself and was able to redeem the offer in the U.K., but Apple says it’s only available to “eligible” users.

The offer is valid through January 31, 2022, and seems to be available in all markets where Apple Music and Shazam are supported.
