Apple Music subscribers will receive “exclusive gifts” as part of a new holiday promotion. The gifts include a special EP from Coldplay — exclusive to Apple Music — as well as playlists and other “goodies” from A-list artists.

Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Elton John, and DJ Khaled are a few of the names who are onboard. Gifts will be rolled out every day over the next week, and you must have a valid Apple Music subscription to receive them.

‘From Apple Music With Love’

Apple used to give away digital gifts over the holidays as part of a promotion called “iTunes 12 Days of Christmas.” Its advent calendar offered up songs, TV shows, books, and even full-length movies. But that all stopped years ago.

“From Apple Music With Love” is somewhat similar in that it promises free digital gifts every day for Apple Music subscribers — “just because we love you,” Apple says. It kicks off today with an exclusive EP from Coldplay.

Infinity Station Sessions features five songs from the band, including four from their newest album, Music of the Spheres — plus a “moving rendition” of their 2010 holiday single Christmas Lights.

More to come over the next week

“We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but we’ve got goodies on the way from some A-list artists: Mariah Carey, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Elton John, DJ Khaled, Nile Rodgers, and others,” reads the new promotion page.

Gifts will include playlists, DJ mixes, a special radio show, and “a few treats so exciting that we don’t even want to tease you with them.”
