Hurry, hurry, hurry. Those Frenzic Industries Power Cores won’t build themselves, you know.

Frenzic: Overtime, an arcade-style puzzle game, is the latest addition to Apple Arcade. Match the colorful pieces and shapes before the clock runs out.

And that’s not all. Game Dev Story+, an updated version of the App Store classic, debuted on Apple’s gaming service on Friday as well.

Get those parts in quick in Frenzic: Overtime

Become an employee at Frenzic Industries and assemble Power Cores for Zapbots. You have to match the pieces to properly constrict each core, and the clock is ticking. It’s easy to learn but hard to master.

Frenzic: Overtime offers 45 levels and multiple gameplay modes. And it’s available for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV. It supports external game controllers, too.

Apple Arcade subscribers can hit the App Store to download Frenzic: Overtime now.

Game Dev Story+ goes behind the scenes in game development

Manage a game company to create the next mega-selling title in Game Dev Story+. The simulation lets players hire staff in a variety of professions — from programmers to sound engineers — and even develop their own game console. It features a retro 8-bit look.

Kairosoft’s original version is $4.99, but the latest one comes with an Apple Arcade subscription. Any in-app purchases from the original have been stripped out. The gaming service bans these, along with ads and loot boxes.

Game Dev Story+ is available now in the App Store. There are versions for iPhone and iPad.

Playing Frenzic: Overtime or Game Dev Story+ requires a $4.99-per-month Apple Arcade subscription. Still, the service comes with close to 200 other games. And more are on the way almost every week. Inks, which promises pinball with a space of color, launches June 25, for example.
