Lee Eisenberg, the co-creator behind Apple’s upcoming TV series, Little America, has inked a multi-year to create content for Apple TV+.

Apple already ordered a second season of Little America ahead of its premiere later this month. Now Eisenberg is one of the few creators to score an overall deal with Apple that will see him developing original TV and digital media projects exclusively for the iPhone-maker.

Eisenberg is a six-time Emmy nominee. He is most known for his work on the U.S. version of The Office where he was a writer and co-executive producer for seasons 2-6 (arguably the best period of the show).

Apple scores another top creator

As part of his deal with Apple, Eisenberg is launching his own production banner, Piece of Work Entertainment. He has brought on Natalie Sandy as vice president of development for the company. She already worked with Eisenberg on season 1 of Little America as a producer.

Apple has been stocking up on exclusive content deals with some of the biggest names in the industry over the last couple of months. Eisenberg joins Fast and Furious-helmer Justin Lin along with Alfonso Cuaron, Kerry Ehrin, Jon M. Chu and Jason Katims.

Little America is set to debut on Apple TV+ on January 17. Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon co-created the series with Eisenberg. The first season will be comprised of eight 30-minute long episodes.
