Apple is celebrating the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA Championship victory with a rare Easter egg on its homepage.

You’ll see it if you visit the company’s Canadian website at www.apple.com/ca. You can’t miss it because it fills most of your browser window with animated emoji that fly around your screen.

Apple rarely puts anything but its own products on its homepage. Occasionally you might see pictures of notable people there — like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — but that’s about it.

Toronto Raptors fans will be pleased to see Cupertino breaking away from that habit to celebrate their NBA Championship victory on Thursday.

Dinosaurs and basketballs and Canada

When you visit Apple.com/ca today, you’ll see the animation as soon as the homepage is done loading. Dinosaurs, basketballs, and Canadian flag emoji will fly around your screen for just a few seconds before disappearing.

Apple’s homepage then loads in as normal. The only way to see the animation again is to refresh the page in your browser. Sadly, there’s no way to avoid it if you’re a Golden State Warriors fan.

If you don’t follow basketball, you might have wondered what the animation was for. Well, now you know.
