Here we go again: Apple’s plans for an Tunes subscription service is making headlines once more.

According to sources, Apple’s Vice President of iTunes Eddy Cue has been having talks with major record labels for a monthly all-you-can-stream subscription plan, similar to those offered by services like Napster or Spotify.

The range of tiered pricing would allegedly be in the $10 to $15 a month range, although obviously nothing’s been agreed yet. Likewise, there’s been no agreement as to how much of the expansive iTunes catalog subscribers would be able to stream for that price.

Initial word is that music industry executives are supportive of the subscription service, due to the increasing stagnation of single sales numbers, as well as the concept having been proven to be lucrative on other services.

As usual, Apple has declined to comment on rumors or speculation.
