World-famous electronic music producer Marshmello will perform live inside Fortnite on February 2.

Epic Games is yet to confirm the event, but hidden Battle Royale assets confirm the concert will take place in Pleasant Park at 2 p.m. ET. A stage is currently being erected in preparation.

Whether you love it or hate it, it’s hard to ignore what Fortnite has done for gaming. Its weekly content updates, major in-game events, insane popularity, and support for multiple platforms are unmatched. And it keeps pulling surprises out of its sleeves.

The latest is a special Marshmello concert that Battle Royale players will get to enjoy on Saturday, February 2.

Marshmello will host first Fortnite concert

Posters advertising the event have been discovered in Fortnite game files following the rollout of the 7.30 update on Tuesday. A Marshmello player model, animations, and music files — including full Marshmello tracks — can also be found.

What’s more, if you head on over to Pleasant Park in Battle Royale today, you’ll notice a stage is in the process of being erected on the football field. It is expected to be competed over the coming days.
