The Recording Academy is trying something unusual with this year’s Grammy Awards: nominations for some of the categories will be announced via Apple Music.

If you’re very eager to find out which artists are  up for Grammies this year, you can get up early Friday morning and tune in via your iPhone, Mac, or iPad.

Nominations are going to be reveled in “select categories” via Apple Music at 8:30 AM ET on Dec. 7, according to Variety. The complete list of 84 categories will be made public on Grammy.com just 15 minutes later, though.

Apple hasn’t yet said anything about this, so the method for tuning into hear the nominations on Apple Music is currently unknown.

Grammy nominations not the date expected

Serious music fans have probably noticed that the original date to announce these nominations was Dec. 5. The Recording Academy decided to move them back two days after the memorial service for former President George H.W. Bush was scheduled for Dec. 5.

Grammy winners will be announced Feb. 10.
