No tricks. You're getting a smartphone, kid.

Brandon Baldwin normally hurls iPhones from a couple of stories up to see if they survive as a way to entertain the 3.2 million followers of his YouTube channel, GizmoSlip.

But on Halloween night, Baldwin and his co-hosts decided to see what would happen when you drop an iPhone into the candy bag of a trick-or-treater.

There was disbelief and, for the last kid, the kind that elicits joyful f-bombs.

Baldwin greeted candy-seekers on the street Wednesday night, bringing with him a door that kids had to knock on. He had the requisite bucket of candy. But he also had four phones, an iPhone XS, an iPhone XR, a Galaxy S9 Plus and a Huawei P20 Pro.

As he handed out the four phones, there seemed to be no particular reason for who he picked. He asked kids if they liked iPhone or Android.

The reactions are worth the eight minutes you’ll spend watching today’s GizmoSlip video.

One mother of a lucky trick-or-treater gloated because her sister decided to take her kids to the “rich neighborhood” for Halloween.
