The monstrous notch on Google’s new Pixel 3 XL phone is getting even worse thanks to a hilarious software bug that is plaguing users.
A small number of users have reported on Twitter and Instagram that their Pixel 3 XL has sprouted a second notch from a software glitch that’s putting another blank space on the right side of the screen.

The issue appears to be caused by the software messing up when a screen’s orientation switches from landscape to portrait. Luckily, people affected by the bug say it can be fixed by rebooting the phone or by messing with the developer settings.
Google says its aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
Two notches on your phone could become a new trend in the future though. Android hardware makers were recently alerted by Google that Android phones can only have two notches max and that you can’t have more than one notch per edge.
Does anyone have this issue on their Pixel 3XL where a outline of another notch pops up on the top right side?
