The fast and simple mobile browser from Opera is now available on iOS.

Opera Touch was built with gesture-based devices like the iPhone X and iPhone XS in mind, and it’s optimized for one-handed use on larger screens. It boasts a number of useful features, including Flow, which lets you share content with Opera on your desktop.

Most people stick to using Safari on their iPhone or iPad simply because it’s baked into iOS and it’s ready to go right away. But believe it or not, some third-party browsers work even better on mobile — and they offer features Apple doesn’t give you.

Opera Touch is here to take on them all. Its biggest selling point is its award-winning design, which works wonders on large devices with no buttons.

Opera Touch for iOS is fast and simple

Opera Touch wants to be easy to use on the go — even if you only have one hand free. Its Fast Action button, which opens a radial menu at the bottom of the screen, lets you navigate, search, switch between tabs, and more using only your thumb.

When you open Opera Touch, it’s ready to go right away. You can start typing instantly to perform a search or visit a URL. It also has a dedicated tab for your top and recently-visited sites, which provides fast access to the places you frequent most.

Opera Touch also incorporates a feature called Flow, which lets you send stuff to Opera on your computer. Simply scan the QR code that appears on your desktop — macOS, Windows, and Linux are supported — and you’re ready to start sharing content between all your devices.

Opera Touch is safe and secure

Opera didn’t forget all the hidden things that make a browser great, either. Touch employs “the very latest in web technologies to keep you safe,” including end-to-end encryption for Flow, and “cryptojacking” protection that fights cryptocurrency mining attacks.

Finally, Touch has a native ad-blocker built right in. Opt-in to enjoy an ad-free browsing experience that’s cleaner and faster.
