Alex Jones and Infowars Official have been permanently banned from the iOS App Store.
An Apple spokesperson said it was because company guidelines prohibit software that’s “offensive, insensitive, upsetting, intended to disgust or in exceptionally poor taste.”
Last month, Apple removed most of Jones’ podcasts from the Podcasts app. That started a wave of social media companies blocking the extreme right-wing personality from their platforms, including Facebook, YouTube and Spotify. Twitter just permanently banned him Thursday.
The Infowars Official app had been one of Jones’ last ways to communicate with followers and sell his products. It is still available on the Android software store.

Jones has made a career out of monetizing fear. He spreads conspiracies that fire up fringe conservatives.
He tells listeners that high-tech satanists, including Bill Gates, are breeding a super race. Jones claims the government controls the weather, and uses it for assassinations. He also says that some domestic terrorist attacks, including 9/11, are carried out by the U.S. government.
Conversely, he also claims that many well-publicized attacks didn’t happen, including the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. As a result, several parents who lost children in that event are suing him.
Jones says he’s being silenced by “globalists” and “corporatists” because he supports President Donald Trump.
