Accessory maker Satechi has been around for years, offering a wide range of charging solutions, headphones, dongles, and computer peripherals for both Mac and PC. Their newest Mac accessories, the Aluminum Bluetooth keyboard and Aluminum USB keyboard offer Apple-inspired design at a fraction of Apple’s keyboard prices.
The new Satechi keyboards feature an extended layout with full number pad, ideal for data entry or financial tasks. A full row of function keys, as well as cut, copy, and paste shortcut keys add additional functionality and versatility to the keyboard. Both keyboards also feature Satechi’s “enhanced scissor switch keys,” promising precision and speed while typing.
The Aluminum Bluetooth Keyboard can be paired with up to three (3) devices, making it idea for moving between your Mac(s) and iOS Device(s). With an expected battery life of roughly 80 hours of usage or 100 days of standby, it is ideal for at home, at work, or on the go. The internal battery recharges via a USB-C port above the function row, further modernizing the keyboard to Apple’s latest product lineup.
The Aluminum USB Keyboard features the same keyboard design, layout, and function (minus Bluetooth pairing, obviously), but over a wired connection. The USB-A cable allows the keyboard to connect to older Mac models (or PC with Mac modifier keys), or to newer Macs through a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
Both keyboards are available in four colors: silver (white keys), rose gold (white keys), space gray (black keys), and gold (black keys). The Aluminum USB keyboard can be purchased from satechi.net or on Amazon for $59.99. The Aluminum Bluetooth keyboard is available from satechi.net or on Amazon for $79.99.
