Customers shopping the iTunes or App stores are being asked to consider monetary donations for flood relief in Kerala, India.

Banners seeking donations began appearing on both sites Wednesday and directed concerned customers to button presents that make donations in increments of $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 and $200.

Apple routinely joins in relief efforts for natural disasters, including wildfires in California and Hurricane Harvey last year in Texas.

Apple shoppers can expect to see the full amount of their donations sent to Mercy Corps., an international humanitarian aid group.

A historic monsoon season brought the Indian state of Kerala the worst flooding in a century, according to a BBC report. More than 400 people have died, thousands remain stranded and more than one million people are displaced.

Monsoon rains began to ease up today and efforts are underway to get supplies to people in isolated areas.
