Wired is turning 25 years old. To celebrate, the magazine invited Apple design chief Jony Ive to come to an event to talk about the crazy changes technology has been through over the last few decades.

Hosted in San Francisco, Wired is planning four days of events to honor “the ideas, innovations and icons that shaped the world we know today — and those who will shape it for the 25 years to come.”

Ive will be interviewed during the event. The specific date for his appearance hasn’t been revealed yet, but the event will happen from October 12 to 15.

Other guests will include Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki. There were also be cultural events and tours of various tech industry offices.

More speakers and events will be announced as the event gets closer. Hopefully Cult of Mac will be able to attend Ive’s appearance to live-blog it. We’ll let you know once we get more info.
