Nine months after debuting in the U.S., the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE Cellular is set to arrive in four new countries, starting next week.
The countries include Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. The device will be made available for pre-order on Friday, June 8. Last month, Apple rolled out the LTE Apple Watch Series 3 to Denmark, India, Sweden, and Taiwan.
Rolling out around the world
According to local news sites, prices on the smartwatches will range from $371 at the cheapest (for the 38mm model in the UAE) to a whopping $819 for the same model in Brazil. Brazil has long been one of the world’s priciest places to buy Apple devices due to the significant import taxes and tariffs that the country places on most manufactured retail goods.
In Brazil, the new Apple Watch will be on Claro as its network provider, while Mexican customers can choose between AT&T and Telcel, South Korean customers will have to rely on LG Uplus, and UAE customers will have to use Etisalat. All four countries will get the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular on June 15.
