You can now enjoy podcasts in the iHeartRadio app for CarPlay. The new section becomes available after installing the latest iHeartRadio update on your iPhone.
You can already enjoy podcasts through CarPlay; Apple has its own Podcasts app, and there are other third-party solutions available. But if you’re an iHeartRadio fan, you now have another reason to keep on listening.
iHeartRadio plays podcasts
With podcasts support, you can listen to all your favorite shows behind the wheel. The new “Podcast Topics” section presents you with 18 categories, helping you find content in “Comedy,” “Music,” “Games & Hobbies,” “Science & Technology,” and more.
Pick shows you like and they’ll be added to the “Your Podcasts” section. Choose the “Continue Listening” option and you’ll hear the last episode you were listening to from right where you left off.
