Here’s one for the crazy cat ladies: The Stitched iPhone case works like a lint roller to remove hair, dust and other undesirable detritus from your clothes.

We’ve seen a lot of iPhone cases over the years, but never one like this!

Obviously it’s not just for crazy cat ladies. Everybody could use a little help when they accidentally roll up to an early morning meeting or a fancy restaurant looking like a furball. You’re always carrying your iPhone, so why not put it in a case that serves as a secret weapon against such fashion faux pas?

“Function and fashion have finally come together in the iPhone case that keeps your phone safe and your style fresh,” says the marketing copy on Stitched Products’ Indiegogo campaign. “Never make a bad first impression with unsightly lint, dandruff, pet hair or dirt!”

For an iPhone case that doubles as a lint roller, the Stitched models look pretty sweet, too.

To keep your clothes looking tiptop, simply swipe your iPhone (in the Stitched case) one way on your dirty clothes to remove embarrassing fluff. Swipe the case the other way (on your hand or something) to get the hair, etc., off your iPhone.

Lint roller iPhone case offers protection, too

The cases also protect the iPhone in more ways than one, according to Stitched.

“Though only 2mm thick, Stitched’s smart design is strong enough to keep your iPhone safe and your ports unencumbered,” says the Indiegogo campaign. “Using a special beveled lip, Stitched adds an extra layer of protection to keep your screen from being shattered when dropped.”

Antimicrobial stitching supposedly battles germs as well. That probably comes in handy if you constantly use it to remove crap from your clothes.

Stitched already raked in nearly 50 percent of its $20,000 Indiegogo goal. Support it now if you want in on the super-early-bird special of $25 for a Stitched case.

As with all crowdfunding campaigns, there’s an element of risk involved. This product is still in the prototyping phase and isn’t slated to go into production until January 2018, with delivery estimated for March 2018.

The Stitched case is designed to fit iPhone 6, 7 and 8 (in Plus sizes, too). And the Stitched Products team also has its eyes on a model for iPhone X.
