Apple’s latest smartphones finally support wireless charging, which makes juicing up more convenient than ever. You can even charge wirelessly in certain vehicles, and to help you pick the right one, Apple has published a list of supported manufacturers.

Both iPhone 8 and iPhone X support the Qi wireless charging standard. It has been around for years, which means Qi-compatible charging pads and accessories are incredibly easy to find.

You will even find them integrated into furniture, lamps, and cars. These are the vehicle manufacturers who offer wireless charging compatible with iPhone 8 and iPhone X:

  • Audi
  • BMW
  • Chrysler
  • Ford
  • Honda
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • PSA
  • Toyota
  • Volkswagen
  • Volvo

Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC also offer wireless charging, but vehicles produced before 2017 support a different standard that isn’t compatible with iPhone. These are the cars that will work with Apple’s handsets:

  • 2018 GMC Terrain
  • 2018 GMC Yukon
  • 2018 GMC Sierra
  • 2018 Chevrolet Bolt
  • 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe
  • 2018 Chevrolet Silverado
  • 2018 Chevrolet Suburban
  • 2018 Cadillac Escalade
  • 2018 Buick Enclave

Apple’s new support document points out that not every car will have a wireless charging pad big enough for iPhone 8 Plus or even iPhone X. “If you’re planning on buying a car with a wireless charger, make sure that your iPhone will fit in the charger first,” it says.
