The episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series featuring the late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington will be made available next week.

While Carpool Karaoke is normally available only to paying Apple Music subscribers, this episode will be available for free on Facebook. Initially there was some question as to whether it would ever air, due to the tragic nature of Bennington’s untimely death.

The episode was shot just days before Bennington passed away in July. In the aftermath, Carpool Karaoke producer and star James Corden said that the decision whether or not to air the episode was being left up to Bennington’s friends and family.

“We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled,” Corden told the Associated Press. “We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don’t think there’s any other way we could deal with it, really. It’s completely up to them and that’s a conversation we haven’t even thought about having right now… It’s a tragedy.”

In a message posted on Twitter on Thursday, Bennington’s wife Talinda wrote that the episode would appear “with all of our blessings.” It’s not clear what involvement Apple will have in publishing the video.

While Carpool Karaoke: The Series has so far proven to be a critical miss, this is definitely one episode we’ll be watching.
