Apple has begun selling refurbished models of the Apple Pencil at a discount. iPad Pro owners in the United States can save a pretty penny when picking up the best stylus available for their tablet — but it’s still not the most affordable.

Apple once believed that touchscreen devices didn’t need a stylus. That’s true when you’re using iOS itself, but there are a whole host of wonderful creativity apps for iPad that are better when you have greater precision.

Fortunately, Apple finally recognized that, and it now makes the best iPad stylus there is. Apple Pencil does everything you could want a stylus to do, connects seamlessly to your device, and even charges through its Lightning port.

The downside is that Apple Pencil is $99 brand new, but if you don’t mind buying refurbished, you can save yourself a few dollars. The Apple online store now has refurbished models for $85 with free shipping.

Like other refurbished Apple products, Apple Pencil is covered by a one-year warranty and 14-day returns policy. It also goes through a rigorous check prior to sale that ensures it is fully functioning and in good condition.

Apple says that supplies are limited, so don’t hang around if you want to bag one.
