Ever felt your hands are just too cold to type efficiently? We have an answer for that! It’s called Heatbuff, and it’s an infrared heater that sits behind your keyboard to keep your fingers toasty.

It’s just one of the awesome ideas in this week’s Crowdfund Roundup. We’ve also got a device that turns your smartphone into a tablet, an ultra-portable laptop stand, a battery pack that requires no cables, and more!

Superscreen

If Apple’s most affordable iPad yet is still out of your price range, why not turn the smartphone you already own into a tablet with Superscreen?

Superscreen is essentially an external display that harnesses the power of your iPhone or Android-powered device. It connects wirelessly using “high performance hardware communication circuitry” that requires no Wi-Fi or data connection.

Everything that you would see on your smartphone is blown up (up to 4x) in the correct aspect ratio and displayed on the Superscreen, so you can use all your favorite apps and features. Its own software runs in the background to enable multitouch and ensure there’s zero lag.

Superscreen is on Kickstarter now and has already raised more than 10 times its funding goal in just days. But there’s still time to grab one at early bird pricing of just $99 before the device starts shipping in December.

Heatbuff

Cold hands can make you a terrible gamer… apparently. So a team of designers from Denmark have created the Heatbuff, an infrared heater that sits behind your keyboard and keeps your fingers nice and toasty.

The infrared technology ensures the Heatbuff won’t burn you or waste too much energy. The device has been designed to be portable for gamers on the go, and adjustable. It’s also silent so it won’t disrupt your gaming session.

Believe it or not, the Heatbuff has easily surpassed its funding goal with 15 days left to go. To claim yours, make a pledge of DKK 99 (approx. $15) before the campaign ends.

JUICED

Smartphones are wonderful things until they run out of battery. JUICED will help keep yours alive for longer. It’s a pocket-size battery pack that has a built-in Lightning or micro-USB connector and requires no additional cables.

JUICED is compatible with cases and contains enough energy to give you an extra 50 percent of battery life (on average). The accompanying JUICED charging dock can recharge up to three battery packs at once, or two packs and up to four phones.

JUICED is just $29 if you claim yours at early bird pricing on Kickstarter.

OviStand

If you need a laptop stand that won’t weigh you down, check out OviStand, the “feather light,” folding stand that’s ultra-portable.

OviStand is just 2mm thick and weighs only 29 grams, but it’s still strong enough to hold over 21 pounds without bending. That means it’s suitable for any laptop or tablet on the market today. It’s available in a bunch of sizes, each with multiple viewing angles, and starts at just $14.

Claim yours today on Kickstarter before the campaign ends in 21 days.

Cradl Case

Cradl is an iPhone case that’s built to be protective and stylish. It’s designed to “showcase the sleek silhouettes of today’s mobile devices” while ensuring that your handset won’t be battered by scratches, scuffs, and drops.

Cradl is made from a blend of materials that absorb and disperse shock away from your iPhone when it’s dropped. You can slip credit cards into its back so you can leave your wallet at home, and there are all kinds of colorful designs to choose from.

Prices start at just $21, and you can claim yours now through Indiegogo.
