Apple Music’s student plan is now available in 25 additional countries around the world. The plan gives college and university students around 50 percent off a single-user account, cutting the cost to $4.99 a month in the U.S. and €4.99 in Europe.

The actual discount varies by country, but it’s pretty significant everywhere, saving students a tidy sum on their subscription fee. The student option has been available in the U.S., Australia, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and the U.K. since its launch back in May.

Now it’s also available in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

The expansion means student pricing is now available in a total of 32 countries. Students must confirm they are eligible for the discount by validating through UNiDAYS, which confirms they are enrolled in a degree-granting college or university.

Apple requires that students are validated on a regular basis for the discount. When they are no longer students, or after receiving the student discount for 48 months, they will be charged the standard fee for an individual Apple Music plan.
