Squarespace is making it super simple for its bloggers to publish their content to Apple News. Stories will carry the same design as your Squarespace website, and will include all embedded media, links, and more.

Publishing your content to Apple News can be incredibly difficult. It’s not as easy as just flicking a switch or inserting a simple line of code with most blogging services. But Squarespace wants to make the process easier.

Apple News integration is now available on all Squarespace blogs, whether you’re an independent blogger, a large publication, or a budding artist. When you send your content to Apple’s service, it goes with your website’s design, and the following:

  • Images and Galleries
  • Videos
  • Audio
  • Text
  • Markdown
  • Twitter and Instagram embedded content
  • A link back to your Squarespace site

There is still a little bit of work involved during the setup process, but it’s certainly not going to give you nightmares.

“To publish content from Squarespace to Apple News, you must first sign up for News Publisher and obtain Apple News API credentials from Apple,” explains Squarespace. “For more information about Apple News and News Publisher, check out this link.”

Squarespace promises to deliver more Apple News integrations soon, and as soon as they’re available, you’ll find out about them on the official Squarespace Blog.
