Stanley is a bendable, leather-and-felt iPhone stand that thinks different.

Instead of the standard aluminum and white plastic of many an iPhone stand, Distil Union’s Stanley is a soft, approachable bit of gear that will bend into all sorts of positions, letting you set the viewing angle and height of your iPhone with very little effort.

It’s a refreshing alternative to the typical tech common to other stands, a fact that’s gotten the Stanley funded at more than twice the requested amount on Kickstarter.

With 15 days to go, the project has blown past its $6,000 goal to garner more than $16,000.

Thanks to it’s flexible nature, you’ll be able to bend Stanley down low to get a comfy typing angle, or up high to keep your iPhone on display from a distance. It’s compatible with any smartphone and small tablets like the iPad mini, and — since it’s not something you clip your device into — it’ll work with any case you’ve got on your gadgets.

You can charge your Apple Watch with an iPhone docked, too.

Stanley has a pass-through hole to manage your charging cables, letting you drop both a Lightning and Apple Watch cord through it to keep your iPhone and Apple Watch charged and ready to go. The leather is Italian, the wool is merino, and it’s made right here in the U.S.

Unfortunately, the early backer rewards are all gone, which means you won’t be getting a Stanley for $29. You can, however, back the project for $39 and get any color Stanley along with a 6-foot USB cable. Stanley comes in black, brown, gray, lime, aqua and red and will retail for $59.95 after the campaign.

Check out the Stanley on Kickstarter and see if it looks as great to you as it does to us.
