We keep on waiting and waiting and waiting for the iPhone 6c, Apple’s low-end follow-up to the colorful, plastic-backed iPhone 5c. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s still a year away.
But what will it look like when it actually does come out? Pretty damn lovely, if the concept video below is anything to go on.
The video is by the designers at SET Solution, who previously imagined another iPhone 6c way back in 2013.
In that version, the ‘c’ stood for ‘curve’, but two years later, the idea of a curved iPhone seems silliar than ever. So for their latest iPhone 6c concept, SET went back to basics, imagining a fairly straightforward plastic-backed version of the current iPhone 6, at a lower price:

If the iPhone 6c ever does come along, I hope it looks like this. I still think there’s room for a more affordable, entry-level, 4-inch iPhone. But unfortunately, it’s not clear if Apple agrees at this point. Fingers crossed.
