Well that didn’t take very long. A little over a week after Apple announces the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard accessories, a leather sleeve has emerged on Kickstarter to nicely pair your new 12.9-inch tablet with the stylus.

The new Pad & Pencil is a snazzy case for your iPad Pro made with high-grade, oil-tanned leather. It slips on and covers your entire iPad Pro, plus has an extending pocket on the side for safely storing your Apple Pencil.

The sleeve comes in three colors: black with black stitching, camel with brown stitching and taupe with beige stitching. Plus, it comes in two sizes for the iPad Pro and for the iPad Pro plus Smart Keyboard. You can upgrade to the Smart Keyboard size when taking the backer survey at no extra cost.

Forge, the company responsible for Pad & Pencil, is looking to reach a $4,000 goal. The project offers an important stretch goal and Kickstarter exclusives as well. The black with silver stitching and taupe with gold stitching are two colors available only to Kickstarter backers. If the project receives $15,000 in funding, Forge will add options for buying Pad & Pencil in sizes compatible for the iPad Air and iPad mini, too.

If you hurry up you can snag the Pad & Pencil leather sleeve at the early bird price of $70, which is 30 percent off retail. After the first 30 backers, the price rises to $80. The limited edition black/silver and taupe/gold colors will run you $100.

The pricing is moderate for a leather sleeve. Look at it this way, you’ll be shelling out at least $799 for your iPad Pro in November and another $99 for the Apple Pencil. What’s another $70 to keep them protected? Check out the project on Kickstarter.
