If you weren’t in the crowd at Re/code’s recent Code Conference, you can now check out the video of Apple Operations guru Jeff Williams’ interview with Walt Mossberg from the comfort of your home.

In a wide-reaching half-hour conversation, Williams touches on everything from Apple’s plans to disrupt the car industry, to Foxconn suicides, to Williams’ own wish for a Star Trek-style tricorder in future iPhones.

Check out the video below.

For those who haven’t got time to watch the video, you can also read our list of revelations from the interview here.

Sometimes referred to as “Tim Cook’s Tim Cook” (a compliment Williams briefly discusses with Walt Mossberg in the above interview), Williams is an important figure at Apple, having been with the company since 1998, and helped the company rise to its present world-dominating position.

He wasn’t mentioned at all in the Walter Isaacson Steve Jobs bio, but like many of the Apple executive team just beneath the CEO level he’s been more publicly available in the last few years.
