Using cases reportedly created for Apple’s rumored plus-size iPad Pro, Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy has put together a new video showing off just how massive the next-generation iPad might be.

At 12.9 inches, it’s definitely a significant step up from the current iPad Air 2 — but would it be enough to turn around Apple’s declining iPad business? Check out the video below.

Hilsenteger’s video isn’t the only bit of iPad Pro that has surfaced today. An industrial rendering shared by the French Apple-watching website nowhereelse.fr shows off a December 2014 image of a 12.9-inch iPad which, frankly, looks like the kind of tablet Andre the Giant would use.

If accurate, the rendering supports previous rumors about the iPad Pro, such as the fact that it features four speakers at the top and bottom of the device, while the power button, headphone jack, etc. have not have moved from their present position.

Previous rumors have suggested that Apple’s plus-sized tablet will come equipped with Oxide LCD display technology, while Apple is also said to be considering adding USB 3.0 ports, and even a possible stylus to the device.

Of course, just because we’re now seeing third-party cases for the iPad Pro doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Eager to hit the ground running with their accessories, third-party case makers will often base their cases on the same speculation that everyone else hears — which can often be why they appear to confirm existing rumors.

With that said, they have also been a valuable source of accurate information in the past — usually when manufacturers have an inside track on Apple’s supply chain — and this could turn out to be the case here.

Certainly, if Apple does go the route of creating a larger pro-oriented iPad to further differentiate itself from the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, it would be a device I’d personally be very interested in. If enough people think that way, it could be just the thing Apple’s looking for to reverse flagging tablet sales!
