Apple Watch - useful, or just a trend? Photo: Apple

Apple told us last month it would make AppleCare+ available for anybody who just knows they’re going to break Apple Watch’s display. Apple still hasn’t officially revealed pricing, but a leaked internal screenshot may have just revealed the extra cost of insuring your timepiece.

AppleCare+ for the Apple Watch Sport will start at $59, according to a screenshot obtained by MacRumors. The site says it can’t verify whether the screenshot is legit, but other sites are reporting the same thing.

According to the leaked images, AppleCare+ for the the stainless steel Apple Watch with Sport Band will be priced at $79. The gold Apple Watch Edition will come with an extra $999 markup for AppleCare+.

Whether different Apple Watch bands will effect the price of AppleCare+ is still unclear. Sport bands only cost $49 apiece, but others, like the Link bracelet, cost up to $449. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch begin April 10. Stores will also offer 15-minute reservations to try on the Apple Watch so you can find the perfect watch-and-band combo before the official launch April 24.
