With an estimated 71.5 million iPhones predicted to sell over the holidays, and more buzz surrounding Apple than ever, it’s no surprise that advertisers are keen to muscle in on the action.

In the case of digital marketing company Truth NYC, that means producing a holiday video campaign for luxury skincare brand Erno Laszlo using the iPhone 6 Plus.

Check out the two videos after the jump.

Entitled “Holiday Wonders,” Truth NYC’s black-and-white ads show New York-based festive experiences, ranging from ice-skating at Rockefeller Plaza to shopping on Fifth Avenue.

While the ads are designed to show off Erno Laszlo, in fact the thing they show off more than anything is the iPhone 6 Plus’ slo-mo filming.

“iPhone 6 Plus was instrumental in helping us achieve our creative vision for this project — and do it in a brilliantly fast and effective way,” says Kenan Aktulun, founder of Truth NYC. “It opened up possibilities by allowing us to explore the life and energy of the holiday season in New York, in a truly mobile way.”

This isn’t the first time an iPhone camera has been used for professional filming and photography.

In late 2013, Burberry used an iPhone 5s to shoot one of its fashion shows, while the Academy Award-winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man was partially shot using that same model iPhone. Earlier this year, automaker Bentley also made the decision to shoot its “Intelligent Details” ad using an iPhone, with the commercial then edited on an iPad.

Most recently, the iPhone 6 Plus camera was used by award-winning photographer Brooks Kraft to document the Presidential Christmas decorations at the White House.
