Well, that didn’t take long.

It’s only been four days since The Force Awakens trailer appeared on all of our computer and iPhone screens, and here we have the entire thing recreated with the ubiquitous plastic building toy.

Why did this YouTuber build his stop-motion homage?

“Made this out of boredom,” he says, “… enjoy!”

This is a pretty accurate, shot for shot, ahem, clone of the official trailer, except for the part where the scary Sith-looking dude chops down a tree in the Lego version. We’ve all been wanting him to try out that janky saber on the trees in the real trailer for days now.

Still, pretty impressive for a quick four day turnaround. The creator, Snooperking, also has a message for the director of the upcoming Star Wars flick, set to appear in December of 2015.

“J.J. Abrams if you read this,” he says, “… you supafly…. good luck directing!”
