Apple CEO Tim Cook dropped by an iPhone factory in Zhengzhou yesterday during a trip in China, and not only did he spend a few minutes having a laugh with an assembly line worker, he even tweeted a picture about it.
According to a tweet posted to Cook’s official Twitter account, the Apple CEO learned how to make a new iPhone 6 thanks to a Foxconn assembly line worker named Zhang Fan.
Great to meet talented people like Zhang Fan, who helps make iPhone 6 in Zhengzhou. An early highlight of this trip. pic.twitter.com/ALo5d3SiSZ

Tim Cook won’t just be talking to Zhang Fan while he’s in the country. He’s on a cross-country trip across the country, and will be meeting a number of Chinese Apple employees for a Q&A.
He’s also there on more serious business: Apple CEO Tim Cook is currently in the country to discuss iCloud Security Attacks with China’s Vice Premier Ma Kai. Given what an important market China is to Apple, it appears that Cook is there to maintain relations with its largest growing customer base.
