Right on cue, the Apple Online Store has gone down hours ahead of today’s special event. When it returns later today, we expect to see new iPads, new Macs, and maybe even a new Apple TV.

Apple store downtime ahead of a big keynote is nothing out of the ordinary; the Cupertino company traditionally takes it offline to add new products and update its pages in advance, so that they’re ready to go live as soon as its new products are confirmed. Of course, we already know what two of those products will be.

On Wednesday, Apple published its iOS 8.1 user guide through iBooks and somehow managed to include the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 in its screenshots. It was an incredibly surprising gaffe from a company that’s usually so secretive about unannounced products.

In addition to these devices, recent rumors have suggested we could see new iMacs with Retina displays, and possibly even an updated Apple TV. However, it seems the possibility of a MacBook Air with Retina display is highly unlikely at this point.

Apple’s event kicks off at 10 a.m. Pacific, and you’ll be able to watch it live via Apple.com, or on your Apple TV.
