Today, Apple announced Aperture 3, model no. MB957LL/A, a major update to its digital photo management software, for $199. (Current owners can upgrade for $99.) The new version features support for Facial identification and organization, Places location-based organization, new edge-aware nondestructive tools and image adjustment controls, full-screen browser, and more. It’s scheduled to ship in 24 hours.
