Pictured together at last, the iWatch and iPhone 6

Martin Hajek’s incredible renders come in two equally impressive categories. The first are the realistic recreations of upcoming devices that that the artist put togethers based on leaked parts and schematics: for example, his incredible iPhone 6 render.

But Martin Hajek does another kind of concept as well: his purely conceptual imaginings of what still unrevealed Apple gadgets like the iWatch or the Apple HDTV.

This might be a first though. In his latest series of rendering, Hajek has paired both kinds of renders together: the iPhone 6, a design we know, with the iWatch, a design that is, to all of us, still a mystery. And if the real iWatch + iPhone 6 combo looks half as good in real life as Hajek’s, we’re in for an exciting year. More images after the jump.

WTF is that thing ? Such a letdown by the artist making the iPod Touch shrinked in to a watch :|

Are the screens all scratched up in these pictures?
If the itwatch is anything but round it will be a disappointment.

    • Bob George

I hope it’s not round, too small of a screen.

      • NitzMan

I doubt it’ll look anything like this. Apple plans to take on Swiss watch makers, so they’re not going to do it with something like this, which looks extremely cheap and tacky. You should look at a typical, high-end watch for an indication of what Apple will bring to market.

With all respect to the artist, it’s funny how our imaginations are so constrained by the present. This reminds me of the rotary iPod Steve joked about when the iPhone first debuted.

In all seriousness though, I doubt the iWatch will look like this, or its real competitors whose strap is a useless piece of fabric. If it’s going to cram in all the sensors, battery, etc. the band itself – if there’s such a distinction – is probably going to be part of the functionality.

  • Sven Van de Perre

Pretty render, but zero iWatch innovation. Apple won’t have taken 4 years to end up with a mini-phone attached to a wrist-band. As a happy Fuelband user, I’m hoping that the iWatch is a low-key wristband with great sensors and some basic functionality (clock, activity metrics, reading texts and answering calls maybe?) for a fair price. As there’s not really any room for another devices which you use intensively. An extension on the iPhone however, that would be great.

      “is a render” not understand?

  • San Diego Dave

First, that iWatch is ugly. I hope the real thing looks nothing like that.

Second, concept renderings of a watch and iphone together in the same image isn’t new or special. I just googled “iWatch and iPhone 6” and got dozens of similar renderings.

Third, would it really kill you guys to put “concept” in the article’s title? We all know you’re trying to get more clicks by suggesting that this story was going show the ACTUAL iWatch and iPhone together, and it’s annoying.

  • Ryan Ballow

This is incredibly dope! I’d love for the iWatch to come out, though, I don’t think they’re quite there yet. Perhaps within the next year or two. For now, the focus will be on launching these two devices, the 4.7 and 5.5 inch iPhones. And soon, the newest iPad! Which should be awesome.

  • Ooo! iWatch! We’d rock one of those anyday. But yea, the newest iPhone is going to be sick, and like other people have said, may trigger some big switches from Android, because of the size. Most people cite the size of their Galaxy or note as the reason they have an Android phone.

  • RyanTV

If the iWatch looks anything like this, you can count me out. It is going to have to look like a classic, high end timepiece with all the added functionality to get me to give up wearing any of my current watches.

  • Kris Brand

Why does the iwatch need antenna breaks?

And what’s with the scratched up screens?

    Not attractive at all.

  • freemdoom

CofM, click baiting with the best of them.

  • Esmae

Oh my goodness how will people survive this massive letdown when all is otherwise so very cherry with the world.
More toys for the girls and boys but they don’t like, back to the drawing board, Apple.

  • Andrew

wow, what a crap, please, do not make any more renders, and world will be better
