I don’t get why multiple sites are saying the loading bar under launch is new. This hads been in previous versions of OS X including my public beta of Yosemite.

    • It was taken out of previous betas

  • I am NOT a big fan of Jony Ive’s radical cartoonizing of dock icons, especially the cheesy new Finder icon. The redesign makes the icons look like they were designed for pre-schoolers by Hasbro. I don’t believe this cartoon and bright fluorescent colors are in the best interests of an elegant OS X interface. Keep the look clean, minimalist and un-cartoonish.

not only that but his abhorrence of back buttons and quit buttons is a real pain . i can’t tell you how many times i was trapped in the iTunes store while trying to hit the shuffle button on my phone . as a older person i can’t use his interface with out my reading glasses on big fax pas in my book. adobes guidelines for business cards also work for GUI’s if your at a pay phone in the rain at night with your last quarter you should not accidentally dial the fax number. thats design

  • I will be glad to see it when it is through the beta stages. I know that OSX is a great operating sys. But if they tweak it too much it is like to many chefs in a kitchen.

As far as I know, there has been only one beta – but five developer previews.
