The new trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, has us chomping at the galactic bit for the full movie, due out in theaters August 1. There’s plenty of action in this new preview, along with some fantastic moments between our protagonists.
With Bradley Cooper as wisecracking badass raccoon Rocket and Vin Diesel as giant, flower-giving tree-thug Groot, the upcoming flick from the makers of Thor, Iron Man and The Avengers is promising a lot to moviegoers; let’s hope it’s worth the wait.
There are quite a few scenes and bits of dialogue that we’ve seen before, but this new trailer adds in some choice new cuts, including epic space scenes and two hilarious moments between Pratt’s Star-Lord and Cooper’s CGI-animated Rocket, both near the end of this two-minute trailer.
We’re super-excited about this movie, and the funny character moments plus the new space battle scenes have us thirsting for more — who is that scary-looking living statue creature mid-trailer? How can anyone take Chris Pratt seriously? Does Vin Diesel ever get to say more than “I am Groot?”
Whatever the answers, you know we’ll be in theaters at the beginning of August to check this one out. How about you?
