Disruptor Beam, the company behind Game of Thrones Ascent, hopes to thrill the thousands of Star Trek fans worldwide with its upcoming social strategy roleplaying game, Star Trek Timelines.

You’ll need to build your own starship and crew to boldly go where no one has gone before, exploring the Star Trek multiverse alongside characters from all eras of Trekdom.

There’s a new teaser trailer with the voices of Commander Data, Leuitenant Uhura, and Captain Jean Luc Picard to get you excited.

“We want to create a new generation of strategy game for tablet and mobile devices and one that is as large and deep as the Star Trek universe itself,” said Jon Radoff, CEO of Disruptor Beam, in a statement. “I grew up watching the franchise and have always felt that the best episodes were those that went beyond the coolness of the technology or vastness of space; the ones which told the story of characters making important decisions that had an impact on others, on civilizations, planets, and technology. Star Trek Timelines will encompass all of these concepts, allowing you to explore the vastness of space along with your friends—letting you live out the ‘where no man has gone before’ mantra we all love—but will also allow you to make decisions that impact your future, your friends and even the fate of the Galaxy.”

Pretty heady stuff for a mobile or Facebook game, right? Disruptor Beam has proven it has the chops to do it, though, as its Game of Thrones social game is doing really well, having been on the list of the best Facebook games of 2013, boasting over 3 million players and counting.

Coming soon to the web and iPad, Star Trek Timelines will let you immerse yourself in a story told across the backdrop of all your favorite places and characters from the Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise.

You’ll get to go on away missions with the likes of Captain Kirk, Spock, Captain Picard, Data, and many others, to seek out new life and new civilizations as you go. You’ll get to resolve problems with combat, diplomacy and science, all the while building your dream starship.

The Disruptor Beam team promises more details in the coming months, so stay tuned.
