Fancy yourself an MC in the making?

AutoRap by Smule, a popular app which transforms regular speech into legit rap, has just been updated to version 2.0 with several significant improvements.

Alongside a new iOS 7-optimized interface, AutoRap 2.0 now features a Rap Battle feed, where you can challenge rappers from all around the world to turn-based, three-round raps. It also adds an improved invitations notification system, new record scratch feature, and a tweaked Top Rappers screen.

Here’s a list of everything that’s new with the update:

• Challenge the World: Face off against rappers all around the world in our new Rap Battle feed.
• Record Scratch: Now you can scratch records like a real DJ to give your verses some extra style.
• Longer Raps: We’ve made the maximum recording time longer for more epic throwdowns!
• Create Your Crew: Smule friends with AutoRap are now automatically added to your invite list so you can rap with your crew anytime, anywhere.
• Improved Battle Invitations: Battle Invites are easier to use, so you get into your rap faster.
• Improved Top Rappers Screen: Now it’s even easier to check out the best raps!

AutoRap features more than 100 choices of songs and beats from artists including Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Tupac, and Snoop Dogg. It can be downloaded for free from the App Store, compatible with all iOS devices running iOS 6.0 or later.
