Apple has reportedly seeded its fourth iOS 7.1 beta build to testing partners ahead of a possible developer release tomorrow. The update is said to include “various fixes” for keyboard issues and problems with the Contacts app, as well as some more changes to the user interface inside the Phone app.

“iOS 7.1 beta 4 (build 11D5127c), should be released to developers soon as it is already in the hands ofApple’s testing partners,” claims Boy Genius Report, whose sources claim there will be at least six iOS 7.1 beta builds ahead of a public release this March.

The update won’t bring any major changes to iOS 7, but it will continue to iron out the teething problems many users have faced since the software made its public debut last September. The software has received lots of criticism over the past few months, particularly from iPad users who find it to be very unstable.

“We have heard from sources that with iOS 7.1, Apple is working very hard to address some large memory bugs and other issues in iOS 7 that have caused crashes and restarts for a lot of people,” BGR added. “Additionally, iOS 7.1 should help unify iOS 7 better graphically, with various user interface updates across the entire system and in apps for a more cohesive feel.”

While BGR is certainly a respected source, we must point out that when it comes to iOS beta rumors, they have been inaccurate on several occasions. Having said that, iOS 7.1 beta 3 will be two weeks old tomorrow, so another update certainly seems likely.
