Tiny Lightbulbs, A Store For Completed Kickstarter Projects

The trouble with Kickstarter and Indiegogo projects is that they take so damn long to arrive. They need to get funded, they need to get made, and only then will they be shipped. In the meantime, you’ve forgotten about them, or – worse – you bought something and now, six months later, you no longer want or need it.

What if there were a way to browse and buy only successful, shipping products, and buy them as God intended – with immediate shipping? Well, now there is. It’s a web store called Tiny Lightbulbs, and you’ll recognize a lot of what you see there.

The Tiny Lightbulbs store comes from Matthew McLachlan, the maker of the successfully Kickstarted SoundJaw iDevice speaker booster, and showcases all kinds of cool gear. It’s not just tech stuff either: there are musical instruments, toys and games, even clothes.

But we’re interested in the tech section, and in there you’ll find such Kickstarter greatest hits as the AppTag (laser tag with the iPhone!), the CableKeeps cord wrangler and the iconic Elevation Dock.

All of these are ready to order, and will actually shipped to your home or office – no year-long wait only to find your new $100 dock doesn’t fit your new iPhone. It’s a great idea, and I hope it works out, because Matthew has always been a great guy to work with. Despite what you may think based on this video.
